How my copy helped launch new brand

Background: A start up with big al fresco dreams, the team at Outdoor Kitchens MCR came to me asking for a whole host of copywriting support.
After building one in their own garden over lockdown, they had seen a very real gap in the market for quality outdoor kitchens. Ready to launch their business, their marketing brief was very clear, they wanted to establish themselves as the go-to company for creating gorgeous bespoke kitchens that made the most of their customers’ outdoor space. I created their strapline ‘Life’s better outdoors’ to highlight this benefit of their products.
What I wrote for them: First we worked together on developing their tone of voice – fun, friendly, energetic, and trustworthy.
I wrote the copy for their original kitchen brochure and their recently updated version. Thanks to the quality, function and look of each outdoor kitchen model, this was a fun job to do, with so much to say about their products. Everything I wrote centred around the benefits to the customer.
They also asked me to write a series of social posts so they could launch themselves on social media platforms Facebook and Instagram.
The results? @outdoorkitchensmcr now have over 16k followers on Instagram and are fully booked for the coming season. I’m excited to see where they’ll go next!
